Sterba’s Cory Catfish is one of the most popular Corydoras species thanks to its striking spotted pattern and bright orange pectoral fins. Unlike most Corys, it features white dots on a dark head, creating a beautiful contrast that really stands out in planted aquariums. Peaceful, playful, and compact in size, this species is ideal for community tanks and nano setups alike.

A hardy bottom-dwelling scavenger, Sterbai Corys prefer sand or smooth gravel to protect their delicate barbels. They thrive in groups and display engaging schooling behavior when kept in numbers. Easy to care for and completely plant-safe, they are also compatible with peaceful fish, snails, and adult dwarf shrimp.
